Olga Koleva

Director Olga Koleva graduated from National academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her diploma film “Lake boy” won a Silver Knight award at the Golden Knight International film festival in Russia, which led Koleva to pursue further professional education in Moscow at Nikita Mikhalkov’s film academy.  Once there she started working in the field of social advertising and directed a commercial for Naked Heart Foundation (a charity organization for children with special needs, founded by the supermodel and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova). This project inspired Olga to write and direct the short “The Right to Life”, presented at numerous festivals in Europe and Russia.  Continuing in this direction she is preparing her first feature film on the theme of inclusion.
